Wellness Wednesday: Series 4 Apple Watch Review

What Apple Watch do you have?

I have this Series 4 Apple Watch in 40 mm, rose gold with a blush pink band, with data + gps through Verizon.

Abe and I decided to get the Series 4 Apple Watch this past fall, and we have both fallen in love with it – seriously! Neither of us have stopped wearing it since we made the purchase. The watch is so convenient, and allows us to do pretty much everything we would do on our phones, from our Apple Watch.

I have loved the fact that if I use my GPS/navigation, that it alerts me of the next step on my watch, so I’m not having to look down at my phone anymore when I’m not too sure where I’m going next.

I also love that I can send texts and make/receive calls over the watch too. There have been times where I have gotten all the way to work and realized I forgot my phone at home. With the watch, I don’t have to worry if that happens because I can still keep in contact with people throughout the day without having to have my phone on me 24/7.

Obviously, this watch is super easy for working out as well. Abe has been using this feature more than I have, but I for sure have used it as well. It has been very accurate so far as to how far we run/walk, how many steps we’ve taken throughout the day, and how many calories we have burned during each of our workouts… SCORE! No more Fitbit and a phone needed to workout!

Questions I’ve had from y’all…

Do you find yourself checking your phone less or about the same?

Actually, YES. 100%. The only time I am ever on my phone during the day is at night after work when I want to scroll through Instagram and catch up on my favorite bloggers instal-stories. Other than that, I pretty much do everything from my watch now.

Do you wear it while you sleep at night?

I know that you can wear it while you sleep, there is actually a sleep app that will show you how good of sleep you get each night, but I have not personally tried it just yet.

How long does the battery last?

My watch has been lasting 2 whole days (48 hours) before I need to get it on the charger.

What are your favorite bands for the watch?

I have found so many cute ones through Amazon that I plan on purchasing soon! Take a look below 🙂

Was it worth the money/investment?

1000000000% yes. I honestly don’t know why I hadn’t made the investment before this, but I am so glad that we did, because it has definitely made life easier for me and allows me to stay off of my phone for the majority of the day.
